MUSICIANS, BANDS & AUDIO PRODUCTION
Sounds Wright Recordings is San Diego’s best choice for on-site and live recording for musicians, bands and music festivals. We can record 16 simultaneous tracks of 24-bit 96Khz digital audio. For music festivals, or for a band/musician on a tight budget, I can patch into a soundboard, mix in some mics, and record onto 2-tracks. We also specialize in Mixing, Editing, Mastering, Restoration, Tape/Vinyl Transfers and CD/DVD Duplication with on-disc color printing. Most services can be done on-site or mobile.
At this time, we are doing our studio recording at the fabulous Goldentrack Studio. Studio recording there would be $65 per hour.
The software we use for recording is Pro Tools. For mastering and restoration we use WaveLab. We also have Reason, and Live sequencers. Our Plug-in includes: Waves Mercury bundle, Bomb Factory, and Antares Auto-Tune 4, among others. The hardware we use to record with is a Digi 002rack, with a Pre Sonus DIGIMAX pre amps, Mackie mixer, Sony DAT, and quality microphones. I also have a Guitar POD by Line6, and an M-Audio Radium 49 MIDI Controller.
Got Tape? We can record/play-back/transfer Tape, with a pristine TEAC X-1000R ¼” 4-track Reel to Reel machine.
What about Vinyl? Get your old vinyl onto a CD or MP3 with our Numark USB turntable (can record directly to your iPod).

"I have had the pleasure of working with Dave Wright throughout the last year or so. He’s been such a treat. What I appreciate so much about Dave, is no matter how unreasonable my deadline is he will always say yes and then delivers! He has not missed a single deadline. I have given him a lot of creative license with my projects and he’s always shown creativity, good judgment, taste and a sense of aesthetics. He adapts quickly to the unique needs of each project. His affordable prices have allowed me to use his services several times this year. He isn’t shy when it comes to tackling new tools, technology or approaches. He is willing to work hard to figure things out. I highly recommend Dave for video production services.
