Sounds Wright Recordings known for offering a wide variety of recording, audio, and video production options. The Head Engineer and Owner, Dave Wright, has been working in the audio and recording industry in San Diego since 1998, and video production since 2007. Dave has completed audio/recording schooling from Audio Institute of America and The Recording Connection, plus he has a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University. He has done internships in San Diego’s top studios; Studio West, Goldentrack Studio, and Blitz Recording Studio. Dave also ran front-of-house sound for the NFL Experience in 2003.
Sounds Wright Recordings’ Dave Wright is best known for professionally recording live music festivals, most notably is Baja Bash. He recorded Baja Bash from 2000-2005, and has produced the Best of Baja Bash XI CD, as well as Baja Bash Live 2005 CD. Also, Dave has done the front-of-house engineering, in addition to recording, for numerous events and festivals for Keeth Mahoogan Production. We are capable of doing live 16-track simultaneous recording with Pro Tools, 2-track live recording, Pro Tools mixing and editing, mastering, media transfers, and CD/DVD duplication with stunning on-disc color printing. SWR can also produce, and/or edit, your next video. With Dave’s experience with Marketing, we can tailor any corporate concept into an eye catching video that you can put on your website. We also can set you up with professional Webmaster to build your own website.
Not only is Sounds Wright Recordings abilities diverse, but so is its clientele. The artist that SWR has done work for have ranged from Hard Core Punk to Hip-Hop and Funk, all the way out to Jazz, then back to Bluegrass, into a breakout session, and visually on the web.
